About Us

You place your personal physical and emotional safety in the hands of those facilitating your relationship with horses. It makes sense to choose wisely.

What sets IHC apart are Bob & Nikki’s credentials. Their resumes are filled with top honors in the equestrian field. Yet, they are most proud of the 20+ years of work they’ve done with the 4-H and FFA, as well as donations of nearly $50,000 in services to community agencies since 2003.

One glance into their “off-farm” lives shows that they’re well-rounded professionals who offer much more than mere horsemanship expertise. Nikki earned her BS in Agricultural Education with a minor in business at UW-Madison. She worked as a high school teacher prior to earning her masters in Marriage & Family Therapy from Edgewood College. She established a private practice in 2003 providing Equine Facilitated Family Therapy to individuals, couples and families at the Interstate Horse Center.

Bob earned his first degree in business management from MATC and worked in food service management for several years prior to choosing full-time work on the farm in the early 1990’s. He worked exclusively at IHC until he earned his BS and DPI licensure in Elementary Education from Edgewood College in 2003. His Environmental Studies minor guides IHC’s program development. Bob currently works as a Supervisor for the Wisconsin Youth Company’s “After School” programs of Dane County.
